lawrence hill is an experienced singer songwriter based in Hertfordshire
Guitar came into Lawrence's life aged 6 after he saw his cousins play and thought it looked cool! It quickly became an obsession and progressed throughout his schooling. The Singer/Songwriter aspect came later after building a strong relationship with 'good sound'. He discovered his voice in the shed in his parents garden, where he used to practice, and quickly found it a vital release to express his feelings through song.
Lawrence went on to write a catalogue of songs, of which many have been showcased live in Hertfordshire and London establishments. He has also had significant radio play/interviews for BBC Introducing locally.
Currently, Lawrence is busy playing 5+ shows a week all around the country and is finding himself in high demand. His biggest achievement to date is supporting 80s Pop Star Kim Wilde on her European tour summer 2016. Kim stumbled across Lawrence in a local pub and became a big fan of his works (her personal favourite "Until The End Of Time" EP is still playing in her car!).
Since then Lawrence has supported Kim on two European tours (16/17) and a full UK tour (18) which paved way for an exciting EP release later this year.
"Right from the word go I have been exposed to an eclectic range of music by my parents... Van Morrison, James Taylor, Fleetwood, The Stones are just a few of the legends I have grown up with"
"Everyone has an energy for something, mine is sound. Good sound is everything to me."
"The first time I ever sang a song to few drunken people in a pub it felt like whatever I been doing before was just wrong. I became Lawrence Hill that day"
